- Organic Fertilizer Research
Laboratory testing of organic fertilizer components, experimentation on optimal application rates, interpretation of fertilizer effects on soil, crops, and especially yield performance.
- Agriculture
Varietal trials and field experimentation.
- Water Management
Design and testing of water management systems in the field, interpretation of their impacts on crops, and recommendations for improvement.
- Rural Development
Field surveys and assessment of research impacts in communities surrounding research sites.
Internship Requirements
Profile
- Student in agronomy, environmental sciences, geography, meteorology, biology, rural engineering, or related fields
- Strong motivation for fieldwork
- Interest in applied research
Internship Details
- Duration: 2 to 6 months
- Location: Antananarivo and project research sites
- Technical supervision: Provided by department researchers
- Academic supervisor required for scientific validation of the Terms of Reference (ToR)
Field experimentation and surveys are fully covered by the project.
A monthly internship allowance is provided.
